Longtime correspondent Geraldo Rivera introduced Thursday that he’s leaving Fox Information after working there for greater than 20 years.
Rivera stated he was canned from his co-hosting gig on the community’s political panel discuss present “The 5” and made the choice to depart the community because of this.
“I’ve been fired from ‘The 5’ and on account of that, I give up Fox,” he stated in a video taken from his boat and posted to Twitter Thursday.
Rivera, 79, added that he’ll seem on “Fox & Mates” Friday morning to debate extra particulars of his departure from the community he has labored at since 2001 — when he was employed as a conflict correspondent.
“After 23 years tomorrow Fox and Mates may very well be my final look on the community,” he wrote on Twitter. “Thanks for the recollections.”
